We are a growing team looking for a back-end heavy Fullstack Engineer in the Order Fulfillment team to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO …
As a Back-end heavy Fullstack Engineer, you’ll work on evolving backend and frontend services in distributed architectures with asynchronous communication. You’ll be collaborating closely with seasoned product managers, UX designers and other software engineers in various ways including passionate communities of practice to enhance carrier experience by improving carrier load and payment visibility. - Work with talented engineers within a mature, agile and friendly team
- Participate in building new software solutions in the defined scope with a focus on quality
- Constantly enhance the maintainability and reliability of our services
- Cross-team collaboration
- Actively participate in the developer community, learn and share best practices in engineering and collaboration.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- Experience with Kafka and asynchronous architectures
- Knowledge of Clean Code concepts and SOLID principles
