We are a growing team looking for an Operations Analyst, process and reporting to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Milan office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an Operations Analyst, process automation and reporting you’ll work on crucial activities, which contribute to the execution of the department vision and strategies by identifying and driving productivity and continuous improvement. In this role you will actively guide the team to a smooth transition towards more efficient and automatic order processing activities.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- Develop standardized order reporting mechanisms, leading to increased operational transparency
- Structure strategical analysis, mainly focused on orders financials and operational
- Define, document, assess the internal processes (SOPs) identifying improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with organization objectives and guidelines
- Evaluate and support API flows implementations to increase the order ingestion automation. Conduct gap analysis on existing connections.
- Lead internal projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Act as a backup for team members in order management activities when needed
- Cooperate with tech department to maximize the utilization of the internal systems
- Review solution designs with tech project teams to ensure current solutions meet requirements, are scalable and high quality. Calculate the ROI in case change requests need to be submitted
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Operations Programs and Finance teams to ensure streamlined and defined processes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Master degree in economics, statistics, engineering and equivalent fields or comparable work experience;
- At least 3 years of professional experience in operations, operations analysis, administration with a history of success working ideally within logistics companies and/or scale ups;
- Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, PowerBi, Looker to support critical decisions and translating them into actionable insights;
- Technical proficiency in handling high amounts of data
- Experience in working in high-growth and rapidly scaling environments and overcoming the challenges that these bring;
- Great coordination and presentation skills, which facilitate collaboration and partnership;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Italian and English;
- Ability to work independently with G-Suite and MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint proficient).
- A proactive and self-starter approach with good organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Great team working attitude.
