We are looking for a Senior Product Manager in the Carrier Marketplaces Team to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Berlin office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

As a Senior Product Manager for the Carrier Marketplaces Team you’ll work on interesting responsibilities like how can we make sure the right loads, for the right price, at the right time are available for our carriers? How can we help carriers easily find the best loads so their trucks don’t run empty? How can we create a self-service and automated marketplace that keeps carriers engaged and ensures the best possible carrier experience?

You will be collaborating closely with other product managers, central and local operational teams, marketing and engineering teams to develop this entirely new offering.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

  • Develop and own the product strategy for the loads marketplace. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from discovery, concept to launch and beyond. Gather and prioritize requirements, create product roadmaps, and work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Be highly customer-centric. Regularly visit customers and shadow internal employees to gain deep insights into user needs and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough product discovery using lean product management methodologies. Validate hypotheses and ensure user research is integrated into the product development process, influencing our backlog effectively.
  • Implement diverse validation methods for features, including but not limited to A/B testing. Use various experimentation techniques to ensure robust and reliable results, continuously iterating based on feedback and data.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline and optimize the marketplace. Reduce manual interventions such as bid reviews and acceptances by implementing automated processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

  • 5-7 years of experience in data-driven product development as an individual contributor.
  • Proven expertise in deep experimentation methods within a B2B context
  • Strong background in B2B environments, ideally in the logistics industry
  • Comprehensive experience across multiple functions including user research, analytics, and design
  • Relevant experience in roles focused on marketplace products, demonstrating a clear understanding of marketplace dynamics and challenges is a must have
  • Strong discovery skills utilizing lean startup methodologies to validate hypotheses and ensure product-market fit.
  • An analytical and data-based approach to finding and prioritizing the most impactful developments to the customer-experience and our business
  • Clear and confident communication with engineering teams and multiple stakeholders across the company; strong interpersonal skills
